Dr. Amarachi Ijeoma is a practicing fertility physician, a passionate advocate for sexual and reproductive health and rights, and a dedicated researcher committed to advancing Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) 3 (Good Health and Well-being) and 5 (Gender Equality). With a profound dedication to women’s health, Dr. Ijeoma has devoted her career to enhancing the health and well-being of every woman.

As the Founder and Executive Director of the Leading Women’s Health Foundation, Dr. Ijeoma spearheads initiatives that create widespread awareness through service delivery, medical outreaches, and campaigns. Her leadership is instrumental in driving programs that provide essential health services and education to under-resourced communities. Under her guidance, the organization conducts free medical examinations and consultations, breast and cervical cancer screenings, and comprehensive health education campaigns.

Dr. Ijeoma’s advocacy extends beyond clinical practice; she is a tireless campaigner for women’s health rights, working to break down barriers and ensure that all women have access to quality healthcare. Her research focuses on finding innovative solutions to improve reproductive health outcomes and address disparities in healthcare access. Through her efforts, Dr. Ijeoma aims to create a more equitable health system where every woman can thrive.

Her work with the SPPIN project (Stop Period Poverty In Nigeria) reflects her commitment to eradicating period poverty and ensuring menstrual health management for all women and girls. By providing free sanitary products and conducting educational workshops, Dr. Ijeoma and her team empower women to manage their menstrual health with dignity and confidence.
