Who We Are

Leading Women’s Health Foundation

At Leading Women’s Health Foundation, we are committed to transforming the health and well-being of under-resourced communities. Our mission centers on providing essential medical services and raising awareness about critical health issues, especially those affecting women. Through our comprehensive medical outreaches, we offer free medical examinations, consultations, and vital breast and cervical cancer screenings. These services are designed to ensure early detection and intervention, which are crucial in saving lives and improving health outcomes.

In addition to our on-the-ground medical efforts, we leverage our social media platforms to educate the public on women’s menstrual health and the importance of early detection for gynecological cancers such as breast and cervical cancer. Our educational campaigns aim to break down stigmas and provide accessible, accurate health information to empower women and girls.

One of our flagship initiatives is The SPPIN Project (Stop Period Poverty In Nigeria). This project is dedicated to eradicating period poverty by providing free sanitary products and menstrual hygiene education to those in need. Through SPPIN, we address the lack of access to menstrual hygiene products and education, ensuring that every girl and woman can manage their periods with dignity and confidence. Our efforts also include advocating for policies that support menstrual health and hygiene, working to create a more equitable environment for all.

Since our inception, we have impacted thousands of lives through our medical campaigns, cancer screenings, and educational programs. We believe in the power of community and the difference that informed, compassionate care can make. By focusing on both immediate health needs and long-term education, we aim to build healthier, more resilient communities.
